Reunited and it feels gooooood!

This is going to be a short post this evening.

I’m that excited that I felt the need to write that first sentence in capital letters. I got my phone back on Wednesday which means I was only without it for a week, which is far better than the 10 working days I was expecting. And I am soooooo pleased to have it back and all back up and running again.

Although I had a courtesy phone it wasn’t very good so I’ve abstained from social media for a week and it’s been a bit weird. No looking at twitter or Instagram and minimal views on Facebook through the laptop meant I felt a bit out of the loop. I couldn’t participate in any blogger chats as I’d planned to start doing, couldn’t look at all the fab blogger pics on Instagram, didn’t have much time to catch up on reading blogs. I also didn’t see the point in writing any new blog posts if I couldn’t schedule them to post on social media because I didn’t know when I’d have a phone!

A week is a LOOOOONNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGG time when you don’t have a phone. A phone which you realise you really quite heavily on.

I’ve treated the phone to a lovely new protective case as well now, so hopefully should an accident happen it won’t cause too much damage!

And I’m feeling all motivated again now that life feels back to normal, so this weekend will be spent doing LOTS of blog and life planning. I suddenly feel reinvigorated to make plans for everything! More to come on that over the next few weeks.

It’s weird isn’t it = a phone is just a phone. An inanimate object. And not having it shouldn’t cause so much drama and make me so anxious. But it did. And just by getting it back I feel a million times better!

So onwards and upwards! Have a great weekend everyone. Much love x

    1. It really does! I do wonder how we got by in the days when there no mobile phones, but you can’t miss what you never had I guess. It’s not until you rely on something so much that you’re lost when it’s temporarily gone! x
