Being positive!

When I started writing this post I wasn’t sure whether to write a whole post or to just go with posting the words below.

The words are fairly straightforward – but to me, quite powerful. So if I’d just posted the picture, the words would have spoken for themselves.

But what the words say are a philosophy that I absolutely live by. I am a huge believer in working hard, and I couldn’t agree more with the saying “hard work pays off”. Because I promise you it does.

It may not pay off immediately and you might feel like you’re working your backside off and getting nowhere. But never give up!

I genuinely believe that each of us is the architect of our own life. Things won’t always be given to you. You have to make things happen, you have to help yourself.

Now I’m not naive enough to know that luck doesn’t play a part in life too. It does. And no one can control that! But you can control how you go about something and you can control the hard work you put in.

Positivity also plays a part. You might be working hard to achieve something but if you have a negative attitude you’ll never achieve it.

I’ve got lots of things I want to achieve. But I’ve just recently made a decision to try and achieve something new that’s going to take a fair amount of work. But I’m going to do whatever I can to try and make it happen.

If it takes me years, that’s fine. As long as I can say I worked hard, I did as much as I could to achieve it and didn’t give up, then if it doesn’t work out so be it.

But I’m going to be positive about it as well. There will undoubtedly be times when I’ll think negatively about whether I can achieve what I’m setting out to do. But I aim to always try and find the positive in any situation so that’s what I’ll keep doing, every step of the way.

So, if you have a goal or a dream, then set out to achieve it! Make a plan and take each bit of the plan step by step.

Stay positive. Work hard. Make it happen.
